    Radicals

    Radicals and the Baseline Indicator: When a level indicator is in effect, the baseline indicatordots 5 must be used before a radical sign or radical indicator belonging to a radical on the baseline of writing. However, the baseline indicator must not be used after a number subscript not requiring a subscript indicator.
